By Car
From Downtown Atlanta: Head east on Interstate-20 to exit 114 (US 129 / 441). Turn left off the exit and stay straight to drive into downtown Madison.
From Downtown Macon: Head north on US 129 / 441 for 60 miles to drive into downtown Madison.
Athens: From the southern GA-10 Loop, head south on highway 441. Turn right onto South 129/West 278/South 441 to drive into downtown Madison.
From Lake Oconee: Head west on Interstate-20 to exit 114, (US 129 / 441). Turn right off of the exit and stay straight to drive into downtown Madison.
By Air
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Just over an hour west of Madison, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport offers most major car rental companies. However, if you prefer not to drive, Groome Transportation offers daily shuttle service between the airport and Madison. You will need to arrange travel from their drop off location near the interstate to your final destination.
Madison Municipal Airport
Have your own plane? Madison has its own airport featuring a 3806 ft x 75 ft asphalt runway located less than a mile from downtown.


By Bus
With a stop located just off Interstate-20 and only three miles to downtown Madison, let Greyhound do the driving. Tickets are available via will call, but it is recommended to verify the bus schedule prior to your trip. Sit back and enjoy the ride to your next getaway.
