"We the People" Exhibition at Madison Artists Guild Gallery
Visit the Madison Artists Guild Gallery for the “We the People”, juried exhibit in all mediums to celebrate and showcase the 250th anniversary of our nation. This exhibit is in collaboration with the celebration in Madison, GA. Artworks to include creativity commemorating the voices of the past and may also showcase the next chapter on our country’s history with voices of today.
The Madison Artists Guild Gallery is open Monday – Saturday, 11am – 5pm.
Opening Reception will be held on June 12, from 6-8pm.

Celebrate America 250 in Historic Madison
This Independence Day weekend, visitors can experience true small-town charm with a packed schedule of patriotic festivities in Madison and Morgan County, Georgia. From free lawn concerts and a community reading of the Declaration of Independence to a classic hometown BBQ and a dazzling fireworks display, Madison offers the perfect historic backdrop to commemorate the spirit of 1776.

Firefly Festival at Madison Town Park
Saturday, July 25, come to ’date night’ in Town Park. The concert will feature Chris, Jon, & Scott a dynamic three-piece band. The concert is from 7:00–9:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Between sets DJ Donnie ‘Z’ will maintain the energy with easy-to-follow line dances and popular tunes to get everyone dancing!
Tickets avaliable at the gate for $10 per person.
Gazebo Terrace table is $85 and includes four concert tickets. Each table comes with four chairs (ask about room for two ’bring your own’ chairs), firefly lights, and a small cooler of ice to keep your beverages chilly.

Twilight Kayak Tour at Hard Labor Creek State Park
Come to the Lake Rutledge Beach at Hard Labor Creek as participants scan the sky and woods looking for wildlife. A ranger will interpret the role the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) made in creating this great park in the 1930s.
Ages 6+.
Admission: $23 if you use your own raft, $28 if you use the parks.
