With all there is to explore in Madison and Morgan County, getting around by car is definitely your easiest option. Plus, parking around downtown Madison is plentiful and free! All street-parking is free for up to 2 hours. If you need to stay longer, off-street parking is available as marked in the map below and out-of-town visitors are welcome to park outside the Madison Welcome Center all day.
Need to Charge Your Electric Vehicle?
Need to charge your Tesla? You’ll find a Tesla Supercharger Station right next to the Hampton Inn. This station has 8 Superchargers, up to 250kW, available 24/7.
For all other electric vehicles, recharge at the ChargePoint Charging Station located behind Captain D’s. This station has one CHAdeMO 62.5 kW, one CCS 62.5 kW and two J1772 7.2 kW bays available 24/7.

The Morgan County Transit System provides public transportation within the county by reservation. Operating from 6:00 am – 5:15 pm, reservations must be made by 4:45 pm the business day before your trip to guarantee service. Call (706) 342-4052 to schedule your ride.
