Cedar Lane Farmstay

Description

Step back in time to Cedar Lane. You’ll stay in an authentically restored 1830s house listed on the National Register for Historic places surrounded by gardens and acres of walking trails. Discover the old-world charm of large rooms furnished with historically appropriate antiques, artwork and rugs while you also enjoy plush bedding, a full kitchen and a host of modern amenities.

Meander through the formal gardens, wander along the shrub borders and down the sweeping lawn. Woodland paths lead to a spring overlooking the lake. The gardens are full of native plants resplendent with blossoms and berries. Southern standbys like bright Camellias bloom throughout the winter and sultry Magnolias scent the summer air. Tours and educational programs are available to guests.

We loved it

“We love old houses and found Cedar Lane to be a rare blend of historic authenticity, and cozy comfort…such a beautiful time capsule that helped us leave our hectic lives behind for a few days.”
