Easy Bread-Baking at Home: No-Knead Bread with Lori Smith
Tuesday, August 28 at 5:15 PM – 6:30 PM

Join bread-baker and kitchen magic-maker Lori Smith of Double L Ranch as she guides you through the step-by-step process of her favorite “No-Knead” bread. Lori will share basic information about bread-making before guiding you through the process of how to handle the bread after its 8-10 hour rising period (that she will prep ahead of time).

  • $25 online pre-registration required / $8 supply fee paid TO INSTRUCTOR the night of class– cash/check only, please!
  • Register early!! Classes have both minimum and maximum numbers, and classes may be cancelled or rescheduled due to low enrollment.
  • Class and supplies include discussion by instructor, and the lesson about making bread, the bread-making experience, 2 loaves of bread to bake at home, no-knead bread recipe, and sample of the no-knead bread.
  • Class held at Farmview Market in the Patio Room** (The conference room will be occupied for another event, so this class will be held in our air-conditioned, enclosed patio!)

All Natural Lip-Balm: Make & Take with Shannon Palmquist

Gather a few friends for a girls’ night, or bring your sister or daughter or neighbor. But don’t miss this opportunity to learn about healthy beauty products and dive into the DIY world with your very own lip balm!

Please Note:
Class includes lesson on natural products and skin butters and how to develop your own recipes for your own healthy beauty products; class concludes with a make & take for an all natural lip balm, including the formulation and a supplier list.

Columbus Day Sausage-Making: Flavors from Around the World
Wednesday, October 3 at 3 PM – 4:30 PM

Farmview Butcher Glen Wellman and his team will lead you ‘around the world’ as you create sausage blends with the savory and delicious spices while learning and using Farmview’s step-by-step process of making sausage blends, working with different types of casings, cooking methods and more.

You will take home 2 lbs. of sausage after practicing the techniques of sausage-making in an intimate setting.

Please note that this class will be held in the butcher area, which is kept at a very cold temperature. Please plan to dress in layers, including hat and thick socks.

Ages 18 and up
$40 includes instruction, hands-on experience and 2 lbs. of sausage to take home.
