The Art of Fermentation: Fermented Vegetable Make & Take with Jayshree Subramanian
$50 | January 31, 2019
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

If you’re intrigued by the idea of fermentation, probiotics, and learning the ins and outs of the process, this workshop is the perfect place to start!

In this hands-on experience that integrates both education and a make-and-take activity for each participant featuring fermented vegetables, Jayshree Subramanian will teach the concepts and processes behind the age-old technique of how to ferment foods. Jayshree has distilled the process into easy to follow guidelines, and the workshop is tailored to be a fun activity that gives participants the necessary experience to make their own “probiotics” at home, a life-long tool for personal health and wellness.

In addition to the history and how-to of fermentation, the participant will also take home a bottle of their own vegetables that are ready to ferment that they will prepare during the workshop. Jayshree offers the participants post-workshop support to help troubleshoot anything related to their process as the vegetables ferment at home so that the workshop’s lessons can be used beyond the classroom and applied to learning fermentation as a life skill.

This Art of Fermentation workshop is a great way to step into the world of gut-health and probiotics. Don’t miss this opportunity to make 2019 your healthiest year yet!
