STMA joins the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and the Morgan County African-American Museum to celebrate Black History Month with works excerpted from the summer 2018 exhibition Steffen Thomas: Casting the Net of Brotherhood. In addition, artists Chris Cook (works on paper) and Leanna Leithauser Lesley (needlepoint portraits) share their works of influential individuals from African-American history and the civil rights movement.
