We were stopping in Madison on our trip from Atlanta to Savannah. This little town is worth some extra miles out of the busy freeway. We strongly recommend the welcome center! Visited August 2016.
“We came to Madison after we had been suggested from the staff of The Twelve Oaks B&B in Covington. The lady that helped us was very lovely and helpful and we did the Madison Tour that she suggested. amazing!! Thanks again!!”

We were traveling back home from Savannah to Arkansas and decided to take the back roads, stopping wherever we wanted and smell the flowers along the way! We came into Madison just before 10:30 in the morning and stopped at the beautiful Welcome Center.

Staff was very kind and helpful getting us info on Madison. The staff told us what we might want to see and gave very helpful directions.
This is a wonderfully friendly and helpful welcome center. The staff is knowledgeable and takes time to talk with each guest. We learned so much that we decided to extend our trip.
The southern charm of this warmly quaint town is really overwhelming. Downtown square, sweet surprises round every corner. Country laid back with a big smile! Nice to visit if for only a short time. Many interesting historical points to ponder.
We are closed New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
